A group writing project I participated in recently closed its doors and I volunteered to pick up where the previous host left off. Flash Fiction Friday is much like Illustration Friday. Where you are given a creative prompt and how you tackle it is up to you, the creator. Only instead of paints, pastels and pencils (or the digital equivalent) you use words. Today was my last day at work for 9 days. Taking the family to see family in Colorado. A grueling 2 day drive, 11 and 10 hour days. It's so fun. I can't wait. Then 5 days with not a lot to do before I hit the road back. Once out there I plan being very antisocial and writing. What will I be writing? A work up for a 4 issue The Netizen limited series. I hope to have a complete rough draft done by the time I make it back. We'll see on what family has planned. I pray not much more than some dinners out.
