Not much of an update. I just wanted to direct people over to a short story I wrote for an exercise challenge. It's not too long, just 2002 words or if you use the MS Word counter 1996. Not sure why two word editors counted different words, but they did.

The exercise was to write a short story between 1500 and 2000 words. No restriction on structure, style or genre, only that it had to have a cursory relation to a garage sale.

And don't worry about the title. It deals with religion, but it isn't overtly religious. I know some people can be offended or discouraged if they feel a belief is being pushed. It's all in context.
